Bean (prototype)

Bean helps you find and order beans from your very own local roasters and cafes. It is also made to help those who are unfamiliar to the various flavor profiles of coffee. I wanted to create an app that connected various roasters and cafes throughout the world. When I got into coffee, I was frustrated that I wasn't able to find a centralized website/app to find local roasters and local cafes to support. I wanted to branch out but found that there were not that many resources available.

Case Study on Dzuds in Mongolia

Performed a case study on the impact of dzuds in Mongolia, speficially the herders who depend on livestock to live. Created multiple user personas in order to understand the herder's persective during dzuds.

Case Study on Users in Trading Platforms

Ever since I was in high school, I was always very interested in investing and trading equities, whether it's stocks, futures, and even cryptos. I have used a plethora of different platforms so I have seen a wide spectrum of different user experiences as my time as a trader. I did a case study based on the various emotions and perspectives that traders have when using various platforms. Each platform that is available has various benefits and negatives.

I am Curtis Pak and I am currently a student at New York University studying Integrated Digital Media focused in the field of UX design specifically User Research. I'm an avid powerlifter and gamer.
